In order to receive the about 40.000 wine tourists who every year visit Barolo, we created a spacious and functional “welcome area”. In the rooms just on the top of the historical cellars, we set up: two tasting rooms, a winery shop, a restaurant and a meeting room.
Thanks to the wide and covered courtyard, the structure is also adequate for company events, ceremonies, and dinner of gala. The hospitality is our “business card”: visitors and guests who come to see us, they come back very often with an even bigger enthusiasm.
Enoteca
The Marchesi di Barolo Wine House is one of that select few, for it has a historic enoteca or wine library with what is probably the world's most complete selections of bottles of Barolo. This fascinating and extraordinary enoteca contains about 35.000 examples (...) |
Winery
In the “Winery” of Marchesi di Barolo, you can buy our wines and a selection of some of the finest and high quality gastronomic products. Two welcoming tasting rooms have been prepared both for the experts and for the simple tourists (...) |
Guest quarters
Our "foresteria" has two separated rooms: the first, "Sala Paiagal" has a capacity of 40 seats, the second, "Sala Cannubi", can contain up to 100 people with 8-seated oval tables. On request, it is possible to set up tables with 16/18 seats (...) |
Meeting room
The ideal place for congresses, press conventions, workshop, training courses. The room can be prepared with chairs (capacity of about 100 people) or with tables arranged as an horseshoe (...) |
