Italia del Vino is a business alliance aimed at promoting the Italian culture and style in the world through an extraordinary product. Founded in 2009, this association unites companies that are deeply tied to their region of origin while being present with their wines in all five continents. Each brand is based in the best wine-making areas, whose charm is continually fostered by the Italia del Vino partners, by enhancing the landscape through green and environmentally friendly wine-growing techniques..
Collisioni is a non-profit festival, organized by an association of volunteers who have united to create a permanent cultural centre in Piedmont. Their aim is to talk to the young and young at heart, to eliminate the cultural barriers between different languages and different generations, by means of literature, cinema and music, set in a small hillside town, where for three days people live like a community, where they exchange ideas in an open and global town and where nobody is left out – with tastings of Barolo wine, great food and a festive atmosphere.
The Committee of the Grandi Cru of Italy was founded in 2006 to protect and develop the prestige of winemakers, who, for at least 20 years, have produced excellent wines according to the critics and the market.
Gambero Rosso is an Italian food and wine magazine founded in 1986. The name comes from the tavern of Gambero Rosso (red prawn) in Pinocchio where the Cat and the Fox dine with Pinocchio.
Gambero Rosso has contributed significantly to spreading the views of the association “ArciGola”, which later became “Slow Food”, of which Mr. Bonilli himself is one of the founding members. In 1987, Gambero Rosso Editore Srl was founded. It published, together with Slow Food, the guide “Wines of Italy”, edited by Daniele Cernilli and Carlo Petrini, which soon became one of the most authoritative guides of Italian wines, both nationally and internationally.
The association “Strada del Barolo e dei grandi vini di Langa” (Barolo Great Wines of Langa Trail) was founded in 2006 with the purpose of enhancing, promoting and energising the territory where the valuable wines of Langa are produced. Here, centuries-old traditions take their roots and are joined by the culture and characteristic wine and food products for which this area has become renowned all over the world. Today almost 100 associates worked together in order to offer the tourists quality and emotions.
The Trail gathers the municipalities of Alba, Barolo, Castiglione Falletto, Cherasco, Diano d’Alba, Dogliani, Grinzane Cavour, La Morra, Monchiero, Monforte d’Alba, Montelupo Albese, Novello, Roddi, Roddino, Rodello, Serralunga d’Alba, Sinio and Verduno, in an extraordinary journey into the very heart and soul of the territory, where the main character is, indeed, the Wine. But in the background reigns the great patrimony of culture and tradition, the exuberance of nature with its enchanting hills and vineyards. Everything is flavoured by the strong, yet warm, character of the people of Langa who are always willing to kindly welcome visitors and lovers of good wine and food within their cellars, restaurants, b&b, hotels, workshops and museums.
